1. Angry Angel was the first song I ever associated with Destiel. The verses are sooooo about Dean i can't even deal, and then the chorus is Dean's POV. The ending is incredible for Dean as well, the way it repeats "I'm not feeling guilty / I don't care" until it's just so clear that he's trying to delude himself into thinking he doesn't.
2. I always find people talking about/vidding You Found Me as Dean's POV, which, I mean, obviously most of the song does work like that, but. bUT. I just really have this desperate affection for the concept of it being Cas POV. Especially for this mix, which engages with a lot of Dean and Cas' issues outside of their relationship with each other. This mix is early Destiel with them learning each other and, simultaneously, fighting external forces together.
The majority of this song would then be directed at God. It centres on Cas' search for his father and his eventual disappointment. Only one verse in this case is actually about Dean. This one:
but in the end everyone ends up alone;
losing her, the only one who's ever known
who I am, who I'm not and who I wanna be,
no way to know how long she will be next to me
I mean, I like it from Dean's POV as well, because then it's looking more at Dean's feelings of being abandoned by Cas (although yo don't even get me started about Dean being a shitty friend in season 5, I don't need those feels back in my life).
